Extensive sewage damage at offices in Slough

Following a blocked drain at a large office in Slough, a vast amount of sewage had backed up through the drains. The sewage entered through toilets and shower cubicles affecting both the men’s and women’s changing rooms at this gym in the corporate office.

We prepared for the worst and we’re hasty to get to the property. We found sewage across the floors, on the cubicles and in the grates in the changing rooms. The technicians onsite set up a clean area, changed into waterproof suits, wellingtons, double gloved with gauntlets, half masked respirators and safety goggles, we then segregated the area from the workers to prevent any contamination.

Our technicians sanitised their way into the area as safety is our first priority. After the contaminated area was sanitised we extracted all sewage water where possible. Anything that could not be extracted was placed into biohazard bags and taken offsite for incineration

After any remnants of sewage had been removed our technicians thoroughly sanitised the area again giving it a deep clean. The manager whom we were dealing with at the time was amazed at how well the rooms looked when we had completed our work.
