After a drain was blocked in the ground floor of a block of flats, a large amount of sewage entered this unlucky homeowners property. This does happen often as once the drain gets blocked all waste finds the next nearest exit.

Sewage managed to enter through a sink and into this kitchen, leading to waste entering every room in the property. Due to the amount of excrement it was unsafe for anyone to be in the property without appropriate personal protective equipment.

Our team were there as soon as possible to sanitise, deodorise and remove all waste from all the rooms. All precautions had to be taken to prevent any contamination to the other parts of the building, thanks to our professional team the correct procedures prevented any cross contamination.

Once our team were complete and the property was sanitised, we awaited strip out of all affected surfaces, fixtures and fittings so we could re sanitise, dry the property back to industry standard and have reinstatement carried out.
